Hur m\u00e5nga tar examen fr\u00e5n ingenj\u00f6rsutbildningarna, egentligen? I slutet av 1970-talet l\u00e5g det p\u00e5 ungef\u00e4r 1 500 per \u00e5r. Men hur har det sett ut sedan dess? H\u00e4r \u00e4r statistiken.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Det \u00e4r Statistiska Centralbyr\u00e5n som tar fram statistiken \u00f6ver antalet examina som tas ut, p\u00e5 uppdrag av Universitetskanslers\u00e4mbetet, UK\u00c4. Den statistik som presenteras g\u00e4ller allts\u00e5 antal examina, inte antal personer som tar ut en examen. Men eftersom det \u00e4r f\u00e5 som tar ut mer \u00e4n en ingenj\u00f6rsexamen s\u00e5 \u00e4r skillnaden f\u00f6rsumbar, enligt UK\u00c4.<\/p>\n

I statistiken ser man att antalet examina \u00f6kade ganska stadigt fram till 2004\/05 f\u00f6r h\u00f6gskoleingenj\u00f6rer och till 2005\/06 f\u00f6r civilingenj\u00f6rer \u2013 men sedan har det sv\u00e4ngt rej\u00e4lt.<\/p>\n

\u2013 \u00c5ren efter att it-bubblan sprack i b\u00f6rjan av 2000-talet minskade antalet s\u00f6kande till ingenj\u00f6rsutbildningarna kraftigt, och 2007 var det allra minst, s\u00e4ger Olle Dahlberg, utredare p\u00e5 Sveriges Ingenj\u00f6rer.<\/p>\n

Nedg\u00e5ngen f\u00f6rst\u00e4rktes av att det sedan kom en h\u00f6gkonjunktur \u2013 n\u00e4r f\u00e4rre b\u00f6rjade utbilda sig eftersom det var l\u00e4ttare att f\u00e5 jobb. IT-bubblan p\u00e5verkade sannolikt mest f\u00f6r ingenj\u00f6rsutbildningarna, s\u00e4rskilt f\u00f6r datateknik. Men sv\u00e4ngningarna i antal som b\u00f6rjar plugga motsvarar i h\u00f6g grad hur det sett ut f\u00f6r samtliga h\u00f6gskoleutbildningar.<\/p>\n

M\u00f6nstren vad g\u00e4ller examina \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 ungef\u00e4r desamma f\u00f6r h\u00f6gskole- och civilingenj\u00f6rer, men v\u00e4ndningarna i antal examina syns snabbare f\u00f6r h\u00f6gskoleingenj\u00f6rer, eftersom de har kortare utbildningstid.<\/p>\n

Sl\u00e5r man ihop alla civil- och h\u00f6gskoleingenj\u00f6rer s\u00e5 blir det s\u00e5 klart ett hopp upp\u00e5t 1993\/94 n\u00e4r de f\u00f6rsta h\u00f6gskoleingenj\u00f6rerna tog examen. Topp\u00e5ret f\u00f6r antal ingenj\u00f6rsexamina hittills var 2003\/04 n\u00e4r 7 376 examina togs ut under \u00e5ret. Botten\u00e5ret efter det var 2011\/12 n\u00e4r 4 971 ingenj\u00f6rsexamina togs ut. (se exakta antal f\u00f6r alla \u00e5r i tabellen l\u00e4ngst ner)<\/p>\n

Fler tog ut examen 2015 eftersom det efter det inte l\u00e4ngre gick att ta examen enligt den examensstruktur som g\u00e4llde fram till 2007, d\u00e5 nya krav inf\u00f6rdes f\u00f6r samtliga examina. Eftersom flera tidigare studenter p\u00e5 b\u00e5de civil- och h\u00f6gskoleingenj\u00f6rsutbildningarna tog vara p\u00e5 m\u00f6jligheten att f\u00e5 ut sin \u00e4ldre examen \u00e5ren n\u00e4r det var m\u00f6jligt, minskade antalet examinerade n\u00e5got \u00e5ren efter.<\/p>\n

S\u00e5, av dem som b\u00f6rjar plugga till ingenj\u00f6r, hur m\u00e5nga \u00e4r det egentligen som ocks\u00e5 slutf\u00f6r utbildningen? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Det enkla svaret \u00e4r: ungef\u00e4r h\u00e4lften. Enligt rapporterna \u201dGenomstr\u00f6mning p\u00e5 grundniv\u00e5 och avancerad niv\u00e5 till och med [l\u00e4s\u00e5r]\u201d (d\u00e4r andelen examinerade m\u00e4ts efter nominell studietid plus 3 \u00e5r), som SCB tar fram p\u00e5 uppdrag av UK\u00c4, s\u00e5 \u00e4r det i dag ungef\u00e4r 51 procent av civilingenj\u00f6rsstudenterna som tar examen och 46 procent av h\u00f6gskoleingenj\u00f6rsstudenterna. Men f\u00f6r h\u00f6gskoleingenj\u00f6rer har andelen \u00f6kat medan den f\u00f6r civilingenj\u00f6rer har minskat.<\/p>\n
